Actually the server is in Carrolton, GA hosted by Fogo Data Centers. The "Georgia Institute of Technology" is just the ISP.

^^ You know Speedtest.net gives you an image URL so you don't need to screencap and upload the photo yourself.
 
Looks like Virgin Media finally doubled speed in my area!

Birmingham server was not showing for me for some reason on Speedtest..so had to choose Gloucester.



Still disappointing in upload speeds not been increased,Why they never up that is beyond me.
 


Was getting upwards of 68 on download and 12 on upload, been as low as this for the last week, any ideas?

P.s, this is also from Ubuntu claptonman

You're dealing with the same crap my ISP is doing here. They've got a 100 Mbps plan with 5 Mbps upload - it's fricken ridiculous.

Erm... I live in Eastern England and this is the crap I get wired.
Pages fragment and don't load. Just when I have bought TF2 premium, I cant play it as my ping is too high.

Me too man, 60 download, 4 upload. But it's pretty normal in Europe...
I can run my minecraft server pretty well with it. Never uses more then 2mb when 20 people are on the server. Hope the providers here in Belgium gonna updgrade this soon! Like most in US have over 10mb/s.

Also in Eastern England, only Ashley is in a rural area, and I'm in an urban area (Norwich).

Big difference! Still 70% slower than the rest of Great Britain though. :(
