Well I have hard some old computers from like 2000 or later can have a hard time using high speed, or they won't be able to run it..

satillite is fine for speed, just not the price or ping...

This is tethered with my phone, using HSDPA (3.5/3.6G)

Imagine if i picked a server with better ping, the one i ran is 2100 miles away

Found a good server for my phone,

HSDPA Tethered with my phone (I found some servers with alot lower ping, but speed was slower)
My phone has fast internet

Regular Wifi

That's the case on most if not all cable/DSL connections. T1/T3 for instance has the same download an upload.

thats not due to the linitations of cable, its due to the ISPs capping uplodads for home users to prevent them running servers, the reason they dont do it with T+ is because running servers is the main use of it.
