Well, wildblue is satellite. I think that is pretty cheap for satellite actually.

edit: Wow, I feel sorry for you. With your plan, you can only download 7500mb a month..

yeah...its about 20 dollars cheaper than the other companies, good thing im not trying to download a whole bunch of bluray dvds or something like that, and if we violate the contract they'll cut the speed to 128 download, and 56 upload, if we violate the contract 3 months in a row they force us to cancel the service and charge us the rest of the service contract which i believe would be around $1500 us

Thats not bad at all... I dont upload as much as i download, So i am just happy that i have a fast download speed.

yea, comcast where i live has a thing called powerboost or something similar, which gives about 3x bandwidth for the first 30 megs of the download. My upload seems to be 384Kbit, and download is 6Mbit

Yeah thats not bad at all.. I am paying $90 for my Digital Phone and my interent speed at 15mb/2mb and i think its a awsome deal.
