I don't even use Sync. I have different bookmarks on my laptop and desktop.
Is there a reason why? I have bookmarks sync between my tablet, phone, MacBook, desktop, and two other laptops. It's always nice knowing that if I bookmark something at home I can access it at work or on my phone.

Say I'm surfing the web at home, reading some article. I realize that I'm late but want to finish reading it later, I hit the "chrome to phone" button and it instantly gets sent to my phone and opens up, now I can continue reading where I left off while I'm on the way to wherever I need to be.

I always hated how Firefox requires you to remember a long code, or be near an already connected device to add a new device. If I'm at work and want to sync my laptop, I'm not near my home PC to activate it...

:)

have you ever used it on anything but vista? IE is slow period, and it is not because of vista. It has been slow since Windows 95/98 (which ever originated it)

I don't have a problem with either Chrome or Firefox, in fact I use both. I tend to use Chrome more though as I like the sync feature, but I like Firefox too.

I use to dread having to use someone else's PC that was running IE 9 or below. The only time IE was used on my PC was to download any other browser. Though with the Windows 8 upgrade I ended up using it for a couple of minutes. I was absolutely amazed at the change Microsoft made with the browser. I'm still using IE and everything is fast smooth and hardly ever hick ups. I have chrome but I have only used it maybe once or twice.
