It could do with a damned good clean, but apart from that if it spins when it's powered, then it should be ok. In my view, though, it's not worth the hassle of hooking it up, your temperatures are lower than mine (admitted I've overclocked but still). But if you want to go ahead, go for it.ChrisDVD said:Her eis a picture of the old fan that i want to put in the new computer.
do you think i can do that???
Yup.ChrisDVD said:Well see, i have it, i might as well plug it. right?
The key is not disrupting the airflow of the fans currently in your system. If you have a place for the fan actually on the frame of the case, that's not being used, then use that. You don't really want loose fans whizzing about in there, if it gets knocked off it could do some damage.ChrisDVD said:now, where should i put it? i was wonderring toward the modem, but i will soon get a videocard. Maybe on the hard drive? or maybe the DVD drive (or is that foolish) ??? where should i put it?
You could duct tape it securely to the inside of the case somewhere...ChrisDVD said:no, i dont really a place on the case for it. Any suggestions?
