Unreal Tournament 2007

My gosh, has anyne seen screenshots of UT2007? It's insane! If you havent, I urge you to look them up NOW. I just hope my computer is good enough to play it on high settings at 1024x768 with at least 35 FPS. The developer said that in order to play UT2007 at high settings with "playable frame rates", you need AT LEAST a 3.0 ghz CPU (Intel, and the equivelant for an AMD CPU), 1 gig of RAM and a 6800 Ultra. At the moment i have a P4 3.2 ghz, 1 gig RAM and a 6200. I am hoping to upgrade to a 7800GTX 512 and 2 GB of ram by the end of the year. And I am too scared to overclock because I have had no experience with it. So, P4 3.2 ghz , 2 GB RAM and, a 7800GTX 512 mb, I hope I am able to get the full graphics out of this game and still get around 40 FPS. This game has the best visuals, period.

You find many via google.
but that would require me to open up a new browser and go to google.com, then i would need to search for it... bah, would take too long ;)

EDIT: Just looked at those screen shots, and all i can say is WOW! they look extremely life like.

I know that game looks sick, I saw a cover story on it in CGW Magazine and it looks really nice. I'm sure your system will pull it off at high settings, I (right now) might do it at medium, but once I upgrade to 2GB RAM, X2 4200+, and a 7800GT this summer I should be able to play it nice.

yipee, only another $140 australian dollars to go for another GB of PC3200 ram... I only get $20AUD a fortnight....but it is my birthday in 2 days.... hmmmmmmm..so thats another...14 weeks... ah damn. Is RAM easy to install?

Yes..

RAM is very easy to install. Just take the stick of RAM and slide it into a DIMM slot. Now back to the game, it truly seems amazing from the screens available and the Engine has been nicely redone :)

JAN :D

does anyone know what gun the guy is using? i dont know if it has been in previous game because i have never played any of em?

Yeh that was a bit off topic :) I can't imagine how amazing the vehicle physics would be. The right amount of flipping, and oversteering. sliding, tumbling. ACK I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER! dont you just hate it when they release a whole bunch of uber screenshots, and you have to wait till either the end of the year or the next year to play them? Ok if anyone wants to start guessing the system requirements for this game, I would be more than happy for you to.

i would say everything is about right except for the processor. You would most likely only need a 2.0 ghz or maybe 1.7 ghz computer for the minimum, because if you put everything on low, apparently it looks like Unreal Tournament 2004.

P4 2.4Ghz (or the AMD equivalent)
512mb. RAM
128mb Video Card

Thats what I guess for minimums

that's what they always say, but IMO the minimum usually doesn't cut it, especially in the videocard.

Well a 6600GT is only 128mb. and that is a very powerful card.

yes......i have the 6600gt 128mb and it performs really well. that is if my processor would quit acting up:( mine is eVGA.

hey skidude, how come there is one of these: :( beside your vid card in your sig when there used to be one of these:D?

Because it is slowly become old and obsolete..... stupid technology moves too fast. I put that in my sig like 4 months ago when it was considered a high-mid range card.... but now its like a low-mid range card...

How do you think it will run on my set up? BTW my next video card will get the Nvidia G80 series.

oh........ well your screenies look a lot better than my quality of graphics. dont know how the two compare though. you can always just adjust the settings to med for newer games. i am just glad that i can even play newer games, even if the seettings were on low. i guess a laptop makes you appreciate any decent gpu:P

I play Quake 4 1152x864, High gfx. 4xAA and shadows off. I average 30FPS but will sometiemes drop below 20. I go over to Redrider's house and see his setup running Quake 4 Ultra gfx. full AA with all the rest jacked and he still averages over 60FPS makes my system seem really, really, really crappy in comparison.
