The Lego Pc Build Project Thread!

Not sure if i get what you saying? Also for cable managment should i just leave some whole in the lego floor where the mobo is to put cables trough?

Build an area an inch or 2 below the case and against the back wall where the motherboard will be attatched to, and what i meant earlier is that if you want to try and cover up the motherboard just put a wall in front of it with areas that pci's can go in and wires ect

I'm subbed to this! I think you should definitely keep the mixed colors of LEGO, I think a lot of us built stupidly colored LEGO creations as kids, so it would be very nostalgic.

I wish you luck!

Thinking of doing one of these myself.. found this while looking for ideas.. post progress!

Well since i haven't posted anything i figure i better tell you guys what up. About a month ago i was talking to my grandmother about building this pc and she said she would like to give me 250 dollars to help out! Unfortunately something keeps coming up on the weekends and i cant get to my cousins house where she lives. So as soon as that happens i will be at work on the main body of the case. Also just in case your wondering the pc is going to be finished in he middle of july. Well actually i will probably get the video card in july and everything else will be finished before that. Anyway thanks for subbing and supporting me.

You have inspired me, I think I might attempt such a prodject this summer. Maby when it is all said and done, could you post up some specifications and stuff to get me going?

Just ordered the NHD14 and a parts kit :)
Btw guys ive been thinking about ways to mount fans. Have any ideas? Also anyone have legos they want to sell/ donate.

If you have these pieces:

You might be able to use them to mount a fan.

If you have 2x1 pieces like above but with a hole instead of an axel you could thread a long thin bolt through and secure it with a nut on the other side.

Yea that is my plan unless a better one comes along. What do you guys think about how i should do the motherboard tray so to speak.
