Yours is good Nev. Do you live above the exchange?, I'm on an up to 20Mb connection but download is a bit poorly :mad:

Nah,Im not actualy sure where our nearest exchange is tbh,cant be far though because i always get the highest speeds for the connection i pay for which is 20mb.

btw who the hell is "Torch Cummunications"? lol

In the UK there is only two telephone companies, BT and in the the city of Hull and a lot of outlying areas Kingston Communications. BT cannot get into our area so we are stuck with KC that own and run Torch Communications that in turn run Karoo which is my server.

We have no choice in our area, just the one provider. My up to 20Mb costs £18 per month which is not a bad price if only I could get that speed.
 
Wow look at this crazy upload speed at my school. Higher that download. Is that unusual?

The place I'm moving to soon is apparently going to be U-verse capable, so that should be interesting. Looking forward to that.
 
I have a pretty good connection here

I'm about to be forced to change providers twice in the next month, so it will be interesting to compare.
