Bacon Member Apr 22, 2011 #9,473 I got rid of the taskbar with Stardock's program called ObjectDock. ObjectDock then took over the roll of the taskbar. Otherwise you could just make the taskbar auto-hide by right-clicking it and going to properties. Also, I've gotten rid of the "Launchy" application since Windows search box on the start menu does pretty much the same thing.
