Hi,
First time poster - sorry if it's in the wrong section.
Fairly simple question (although one that is entirely subjective and therefore not simple at all.)
I'm in the market for a new laptop. Old one was nothing special (HP G62, i5, 3GB RAM) and has begun slowing down.
I'm open to looking at a high-end replacement as my work means I'm on my laptop 15 hours a day and use it for everything.
I am very tempted by the new Macbook Pro 15" Retina, but would like some advice as to whether a) it's worth the price b) what the Windows alternatives may be and c) What else there may be out there for my needs.
As well as work I use some huge audio editing software, and would like a machine that works pretty quick - so the MBP, coming with quad core i7 and 8GB RAM will do nicely.
Thanks in advance.
