actually.. stats not true. that could also mean that the programming is sloppy.


and yea, I can only agree with vroom skies here. I mean, true, the movies do look good. but then, movies can be editted etc.. so I want to see actual reviews before I'd believe anything of it.

Kof...I was meaning to ask, whats the deal with all the input devices? Just things you've tried or ones you actually use and interchange?
 
My system will run it, actually my father-in-law who is also an avid gamer jsut purchased:

this monster

so I think either my or his system should be able to play it w/ no hickups.
 
What about the videos they've realeased so far, they have to be playing them, don't they, thety can't render a whole video.

I read that the videos, or some of them, were made with a DX9 rig...

I feel sorry for your step dad as he just got shafted.

However, as has been said over and over, we can't truly know how the game will perform until it is out. Some of the videos are in dx9 mode, while others are in dx10 mode. Still we don't know if the game settings are even maxed or what resolution they are playing at?

Granted will a 8800gtx be able to play the game? Most likely, and most likely pretty well. As far as I know they are only using hardware that is released to the public.

There isn't that much longer to wait, so how about we do just that and....wait.

he didnt get shafted that machins is about its money.. however im getting a 22" monitor, logitech wireless kb/mouse,7.1 speakers,8800GTX,2gb ram,500gb hard drive,asus vista plus mobo, raidmax rx 9 tower and vista home premium

for just under $3000

but the quad and raptor would be expenssive

i know the raptor here in aus is about $450 mark

If that price was in US currency then he was shafted.
I'm about to build a new pc in a week or so that smokes that for less than that.

The only thing that redeems that is the software and warranty, but then again, not really.
