call of duty 4 discussion thread

yeah sure. how would that work out with all of the different time zones and servers? the europeans would ping like poo on a western server, and vice versa
 
Hey for those of you that have COD 4 and have played through it, did you have a tough time at the end of the gillie suit level where there are 3 helicopters dropping down enemies next to the ferris wheel? I can't snipe fast enough because there are like 30 guys, anyone have any suggestions on a strategy? They always flank me.

yea this part took me a couple tries too. first thing you need to do is use every single claymore you have in your inventory and scatter them around the area where the enemies start to pour out. once you have the gimp put in position, find yourself a spot far back that provides plenty of cover, with a clear shot at area the enemies come out of. try to pick them off asap so that you keep them as contained as possible. if you miss one or two dont worry about it, keep the focus on the main group. if one gets close enough to you to do some real damage, change weapons and waste them, then quickly get back to sniping. give it a few tries , you'll get it eventually. the bad news is that this mission is a cakewalk compared to whats to come :eek:
 
Is anyone gonna go on the Computer Forum server that MeanMan made? I'm gonna go on it, but there's no one on. :( It'll be a little lonely on my own.
 
Alright, sure, any ideas what time it could be, we're trying to get it so the people from the states can play too, They're so in-convenient aren't they! :P

I just went on the server then to see if you were on then, but you weren't, I've got like 10mins, want a quick game?
