is this a good cooling device? Arctic Cooling Accelero X-2 or is there something better. I want a cooler thats no more then 50 bucks and is quiet. thanks alot

Lats i cheeked most Artic Cooling stuff was good and this one looks failry good..well for under $50 anyway...
 
why would you want a better cooling for your video card?

just add as5 or something if you are really desperate... ($10 or less)

and you can also put some leftover on your cpu too.
 
im not concerd about it being cooled better i just want it to be quiet. I just want a good cooler thats quiet. but i dont want to go liquid.
 
if you want silence why get another cooler??? Any way graphics card fans dont make much noice its CPU and PSU that are the real killers!
 
incorrect seth, i have a x1800 xt with the same stock cooler as a 1900 xt or xtx and it is as loud as hell. and to keep the gpu cool u gotta place the fan at 80% while playing games or itll overheat
 
mhmm. Which is why I have a passive vidcard. The Accelero X2 looks nice, and AC's products are high quality.

Thats a very good cooler, it cools the GPU around 10C idle, and around 15C cooler under load.
 
I have the X1900XT and it is extremely quiet compared to other fans, which drown out the vid. card fans noise anyway. The only time its loud is for like 5 seconds when u first turn on your PC.
