windows11 22H2 challenge!! grouping tasks

I need to ungroup the windows in the task bar as it's so annoying and time consuming.
Is there any way of doing this? I will not update it and I really don't want third party programs either.
Can I change something in the registry or alike?

why get rid of stuff we always had and used? windows is devolving haha

Go to taskbar settings and change this guy, it's been an option since windows 7 (maybe Vista?) introduced grouping.

I hate grouping too so just change that option to never as beers said. Not sure what OS it started with

That's the thing it's not there they disabled that feature according to my research. It disrupts my work flow greatly :O
You can do a lot in the registry so hopefully I can change something in there to get it back?

You can do what you want with the built in features.

I'm on 23H2 and have the capability. Seems it was brought back with that update.
