hey everyone, i noticed that many of you installed different themes on your computers and i want to but i dont want to mess up my system. my friend also downloaded a theme patcher, is window's blinds safe? will it mess up my computer?
 
exactly, i tried window blinds and i loved it, but i need a freeware alternative. i've read about UXtheme patcher bu it got mixed reviews so idk. any other programs i could use?

Not that I know of... of course there's installers for themes (FlyakiteOSX, Vista Inspirat, etc), but those have the same risk as the UXtheme patcher. Do you have Vista or XP?
 
dont change your loading screen that says windows xp when you turn on your computer, it can cause data corruption, some programs let you change it to any picture that you want, like tune up utilitys, so watch out with that, also dont change the log in screen either for the same reason,
 
I changed my loading screen to Pirated Edition XP :D I use windowblinds, It's an awesome tool. Right now my desktop is all RED with red mouse and my Logon Screen is a cool red design and my Boot Sounds are that out of the matrix :D

I use BluePlanet for my boot screen :D

And UXTheme Patcher works perfectly fine. I've had no issues.

You just can't install SP3 with UXTheme/BootXP.
