windows 7 sexyness!!!

On build 7077 now and Windows 7 is getting better and better. I don't even use objectdock anymore, the jumplists and taskbar have pretty much replaced the functionality I used from objectdock. On boot it idles at a humble 450MB RAM use, i have 2GB of RAM right now but I ordered 4 more gigs the other day so ill see if it uses any more with more RAM available.

lets say, when the release candidate comes out, and eventually the retail version, will i be able to just upgrade windows? or will i have to completely reinstall?

I love Windows 7. It's funny how all the Vista haters love 7 even though it isn't that different than Vista. And I don't wanna hear all the jargon about benchmarks, just buy another stick of ram! Also the compatibility issues of Vista are slim to none currently! :)

no, i meant windows 7 beta to the rc, and finally to retail.

Oh. Well...Microsoft did initially say that they were going to require a downgrade to Vista to "upgrade" to the release candidate. Then they quietly released a press statement saying that you technically could turn off that check.

Meh, if you've seen vista, you've seen 7.

Personally I thought that 7 would be so much more after the amount of complaints from vista. But then I remembered microsoft doesnt care about its customers.

come on, its in beta.
the biggest complaint with vista at launch was that it was buggy and felt like a beta.
they've seemed to have changed a hell of a lot, what more do you want?

I agree Vista is greater than XP in my opinion. There are so many ill-informed users that just jump to conclusions.

That would explain it, I don't see many magnum research guns. I did get to shoot a baby eagle one time, and my friends boss did have a Desert Eagle .50 AE, but the bullets were $2.00 a piece. I didn't feel like shelling out 50 bucks to put a few rounds through a hand cannon I would never want to own.

i just like it because its a piece of cs nostalgia lol

To be honest, I have never EVER had a single problem with Vista. Period. It's ran 100x better than XP in almost every aspect. Maybe I've just been blessed with compatible hardware from the get-go with very little problems.

Any issues I've had with Vista have been on my own accord, because I was an idiot. So many people were just afraid to switch to something new. When they tried it out and found that it was just a little bit different then what they were just to, they trashed it...and then word got around without even people trying it. Stupid.
