I'm in the same boat. Halo 3 is definitely not as great as the hype, IMO, but it's still a great game.. IMO.

Yesterday: Thought I might buy a 360 for Halo 3.
This afternoon: Played Halo 3 at a friends house.
Now: Have absolutely no will to play that game ever again and will certainly not be buying a 360 at any point in the near future.

sorta fun...but doesnt hold up to the hype. i like ps3 for games like final fantasy and devil may cry. lookin forward to finishing my new PC setup and getting games like bioshock and crysis
