Which Powerhouse PSU?

Either one would be fine, i would go for the cheapest, Once you get up that high wattage doesn;t matter, for exmaple by semperon 3100+ 2GB of ram, geforce 7300GS 1x300gb hd and 1x100gb sata hd and 52xcd rom with 2 fans and anotehr pci slot fan with 2 12inch cold cathodes and lights on the front of my case, NEVER goes past 250w anyways.

I look for lifetime and amperage on a PSU usally now, I used to get the 10$ ones from frys all the time, but I moved up and got a NICE one that has a lifetime of 400,000 hours, which equals almost 46 YEARS if left on conitiously. It has 450W, blue lights on it, dual 20amp on each rail. So far i have had it 6 years no problems. I got it extraml;y cheap at 50$ plus shipping from ebay.

out of those two i would go with the SFC one, mainly because of two thigns 1, the ASPIRE one has lots of DEAD reviews, and i had to return 2 of them when i got a new cpu psu and mobo on my siiters pc before it worked(Not that exact model, a cheaper ASPIRE one.)

I agree that the SFC one looks better, but it worries me that I can't find it on the SFC homepage.

I checked under power supply-some that look sort of like it, but none with 650 watts.

I would also suggest going with the SFC. There are too many 'dead' reviews on the Aspire one for comfort :o

Not to jack but which do u use?Any links im in the market.

Id get the SFC, neither is a really great brand (personally I'd get a Seasonic) but the SFC looks better and I haven't seen any Aspire PSUs that aren't made by YoungYear or L&C. YoungYear and L&C are not great PSU manufacturers.
