So i had this computer for a year now and got some power demanding games, including arma 3, landmark and stuff, my gtx 650 only gave me about 10 pfs in those, so i upgraded to gtx 770 thinking it should boost it to at least 30, instead what i discovered that on low settings i get around 30 pfs and on ultra only 15-20, anyone know what might be the problem in such low fps?

this is my computer:

and i added this card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...946&cm_re=gtx_770_evga-_-14-130-946-_-Product

My monitors resolution is 1920-1080

PLZ HELP im confused :(

Well, with it being a raidmax case I'm assuming you have a raidmax power supply and they are crap. What make and model of power supply is in it?

thats my psu, but do you really think its psu that might be giving me such low fps??

That PSU is very much borderline. It has essentially 24A for the system minus the CPU due to its design limitations, which is only 288W. The GPU by itself can use 230W stock, leaving less than 50W for the HDD, motherboard, ram etc.

Lets ensure your software is all correct first, before deciding on a new PSU.

  1. Open command prompt (as admin) and type (with spaces):sfc /scannow
  2. Let it finish and restart.
  3. Update Windows completely.
  4. Restart
  5. Download this and install it.
  6. Restart
  7. Download and install this, but do not run it yet.
  8. Download this to your desktop, but do not run it yet.
  9. In Windows Add and Remove programs, uninstall anything by nvidia.
  10. Restart
  11. Open Display Driver Uninstaller (downloaded at 7) and run it for nvidia, ensuring you check the check box for removing Physx and nvidia folder and then select the recommended button for a restart.
  12. Once back in Windows, install the latest nvidia drivers downloaded at 8.
  13. Restart
  14. Download and update DirectX
  15. Download and update Java (required for next step)
  16. Go to intel download centre and conduct a scan on your system.
  17. Download each individual update to your desktop (don't run them yet).
  18. Once all downloaded, install one at a time, restarting in between installs.

Post results.
