whats a good program to convert images

irfanview converts just about any image format

There is the one built into the 2007 version of MS office... or just use the one that's built into XP or use paint.

Well, not image converter, but you open it up in one of the programs, and then save as and save it as the format you want. Sorry i didn't explain it properly.
