At this point. You might be one of the ones that it doesn't affect but I can't suggest a known issue.

About all I know right now is OCZ is trying diff firmware (probably others too) and Mushkin may have the solution. But Mushkin doesn't have their Sata 3 Chronos smaller than 120GB yet.

Might be mb sata controller compatibility. I need a couple days (the weekend) to get more details than that. Perhaps someone else already does.

Save up for now. but in order of priority:

1) Sound Card
2) SSD
3) New GPU

Thanks for your vote.

Why Sound Card above the SSD?

Here is what I am planning as of now

SSD+ New GPU from the new AMD/NVIDIA line.

Since the GPU will be my birthday gift which is in January, so I can already get a GPU priced approx $300.
But if I save up I can get one Close to $500.
But I am not willing to spend that much on a GPU.
So that is why I am planning a minor upgrade.
Like SSD+Scythe Ultra Kaze+ GPU in JAN.

Because once you buy a soundcard you can never go back to onboard audio :D and they are relatively inexpensive

If go for the soundcard and headphone thing then I have enough cash to get both of them together.
But anyways which headphones would you recommend for $80 max.
From Aastii's review I was thinking about the creative Aurvana live.
I can't really give you any suggestions for headphones. I'm only versed in speakers.

That's what I thought once upon a time. Then I got some nice speakers and realized that they're much more important the sound cards. Once you start using real monitor speakers or bookshelf systems, you realize that Logitech and Creative can't make speakers for their lives.
