are these compatible on crossfireX HD 5770 1gb Sapphire and a HD 5770 1gb VaporX Sapphire card cause i know the vapor x is faster

and i have a side question also on the AMD website it says

Website info:
- 450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and two 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)

forum info:
- HD 5770 Crossfire.....................650W................ ..........42A

does it make a big difference? i know a better psu is suggested but out of interest is the difference big?

btw i know the title has a typo wrong spell check option idk how to change

Yes they are compatible. Any AMD cards with the first 2 numbers the same will work together. So, you can put any 5770 with yours, regardless of manufacturer or version, or you could put a 5750 in there.

There is 1 exception, and that is the 5970. A 5970 is 2 5870 chips on a single PCB, so you can crossfire, in any combination, the 5830, 5850, 5870 or 5970

For the power consumption, 600W will be plenty enough for crossfire. It would probably be better, provided it is a decent unit, because you will be sat at around 90% load, which is where power supplies are most efficient

my psu is a SeaSonic 80+ bronze psu 620w so i hope that is enough cause i plan on a 750w psu in the future but for now i hope mine is enough
