At the very least moving the monitor to a different electrical outlet. If you aren't sure about the surge protector, replace it. If the supply is from a UPS, it's likely time to replace that.
The surge protector is only a few months old. We just replaced that one. Hopefully we can find the solution with frying the least amount of stuff, lol.
