Two bluray drives burn differently.

I burned the same files to a bluray using the burner drive in my computer and with an Asus portable bluray burner. The former us x6 speed and the latter is 12x speed. Why are the burn lines so much smoother with the Asus drive versus less regular looking?

I stopped burn of computer burner because it was taking too long.

QUALITY!!!! You never mentioned the brand of bluray in your pc. From the image, Yes there is a difference in burning. Those cd's are far from clean.

It's a Dell computer. It was whatever burner they had.

What do you mean clean? Both discs are verbatim from same pack.

That's dust. I'm referring to how the disc on the left looks like a more solid color change while the one on the right is more intermittent and yet they may well read the same.

I've already explained that it's the quality of the drives that causes the difference you see or it's possible the one is failing. I just stated the disc's are dirty and cause read/write failure.

They both seem to run fine. I just couldn't imagine why they would visually be different.
