to all you ipod users, I apologize

ipods are great just because you people dont know how to use it/or dont like it, when you do it works fine and you can operate it using just one hand the scroll wheel is awesome also itunes and ipod are awesome
 
Itunes/Ipods are great, like Robina said, the click wheel is awesome. And you can also put Doom on your Ipod etc. with much more homebrew things via Linux.
 
I love my 30gig video I pod. Mainly because its not too big and its great to carry around. But I also like the fact that it really becomes a portable hard drive, just this weeked I used it to transfer about 15 gigs worth of data between computers, worked like a charm. You can't say you hate apple until you have experience with them. And I went apple because it was the best large capacity music player at the time I bought it.

But like dragon said, nice necro, I guess its better then a new thread.
 
Personally I'm not a big fan of the scroll wheel at all. There is not universal "this is good", despite what you may think.

Plenty of people know how to use it, but still do not enjoy using it. Seems like people think that if you don't like the iPod, the only explanation is you aren't smart enough to figure out how to use it. Not quite true.

It's all personal preference. But the people who write off the ipod because its a "trend" or because its apple are just Bias.

I'd agree with the "just because it's Apple" bit, that is biased.

But as far as the trend/style, that goes along with personal preference. I don't like the way they look, I don't like the interface, and I definetly don't like the fact everyone and there dog has one. I'd like to be different, and go with another alternative that appeals to my eye, as well as my "style". But that's just me.

ipods are just another mp3 player what makes me mad is people that buy it for so much money when there are perfectlly good mp3 players that are the same if not better for less money! and why do these people buy ipods? because apple puts out propagnada that if you have an ipod your cool and bs like that ipods are fine hardware but they are overpriced and trendy
 
Ok well I pods really aren't any more expensive then other large capacity mp3 players, and if they are its by like $20, and they are smaller.

And it really is all personal preference, I bought and I pod because I liked the way that they work and it was half the size of a comparable creative one.
