Okay, my first and only experience with Tiger:
Browsing for good, cheap monitors. See this Flat CRT 21" ThinkVision on Tiger, used, $130. I like it. Clicky Clicky. It is ordered.


32 days later


YAY it shipped.

10 days later

hmmm... guess it didn't ship.
Call up tiger

2 hours later

"derka derka derka"
"Um... can I talk to your supervisor?"
"derka derka"

30 mins. later

"Oops.. your order didn't ship after all. I'll put in another for you. Huh, you'll have to pay for shipping twice; another $68 (ground); and BTW, you cant have that $40 mail in rebate now, it expired yesterday"
so now, it's $130 + $40 + $68 + $68 = a big number.

7 days later - today

"Your order is in process at our wharehouse".

I'm pissed. Please NEVER order from them. I'm calling them up tonight to cancel and hopefully get all my money back. Lots of yelling. I'm going ebay then, unless some1 has a decent condition 21" CRT or LCD here for pretty cheap. Newegg overprices their monitors.

wow...i never have and now never will use tiger direct. my friends dont like it either...i guess thats why.
 
Yup, there goes the money I made all summer... lol. I really hope I can get that crap back. Ima take this crap to the COURTS.. little bithces... lol. I should. I'd win....

probably be a lot of time to go to court with all that crap. But i;ve never used tiger direct and i wont, i stick with newegg. Thanks for the advice redrider!
 
yea newegg.com rocks. I had a bit of a problem with tigerdirect.com when i ordered my video card they sent me an email 2 days after ordering saying that they are upgrading there warehouse so my order wont ship until atleast 48 hours the email arrived. It shipped 4 days after i got the email, i was pissed off. Then the ups guy dropped off my package at the wrong house but that isnt there fault.
 
lmao, wow wat stories, well i havent had any problems with tigerdirect YET. but im pretty sure i will if i keep usiing it. all i ordered was a psu. the rebates is a frickin hassle on tigerdirect, so many KLSDFJKDSJKLW)_(%# steps. but wow, that hella sucks, 2 shipping cost? if that was me, i would be like... WTF BITCH??? HELL NA, FU, F UR SHIT. DERKA DERKA MOHAMMED JIHAD!!!!!!! AND YEA.... very violent



if u do take it to court (which i dont think that wil happen) then ill help u out and ill be the one that gets put in jail first cuz i attack the other side... lmao..... yea..... anyways....good luck
 
You would have to goto court in the court district tiger direct is located in, thus, immediately making it not worth it (price of plane ticket/gas for car). I can tell you this from experience. A year or so ago I ordered a monitor from techsavings.com. A month went by, no monitor. 6 months went by, no monitor. Did i ever get money back? nope. Did they go out of business? Yup. It would have cost me $300.00+ to fly down to florida, get a hotel room, and stay long enough to goto court. Would I have won representing myself? Probably not. I am a Criminal Justice major, I can tell you right now that you need a kickass attorney when you are up against a large corporate team of attorneys. They are paid well to know how to weasel out of situations just like yours and mine.
 
tiger direct is working on there ware house. At least that is what they said in there e-mail. It took them a total of 10 days to get a cable to me. :mad:
