This.Okay, DNS doesn't impact latency either. Once the name resolves to an IP, DNS's function is done. Due to the volatility of packet based networks you may get differing latency values depending on network conditions when you test.
What was wrong with it? Bad ROM?Finally got LTE straightened out on my Nexus 5.
Weird... That should update automatically when you put the SIM in a new phone. No, AT&T still had the IMEI for my Inspire in their system, even though I gave them the IMEI of my Nexus 5 when I got a new sim.
Why not do T-Mobile 5GB for $30?Upgraded to a Moto X. Doesn't seem like a bad "Unlimited all" (5 GB then throttle) plan on Republic for ~$36/mo.
Just upgraded my fiber optic plan recently
Holy crap, must be nice. Internet speeds are getting insane. Is that constant or does it slow down when lot of people are on it?
It's not advertised on their site, it's a plan available when activating a new pre-paid plan on T-Mobile. 100 minutes, unlimited text, and unlimited data (5GB at 4G/LTE)I looked through their site but it seemed a bit convoluted. The only $30 5 GB plan I could find was for data only.
Also, the republic phone routes any calls through wifi/SIP when you're at a hotspot on your same cell DID.
