divide that by eight and thats actually how many mega bytes per second your school is getting... this website uses kilobit speeds, which are 1/8 of a byte. so to get a number that actually makes sense speed-wise, divide your score by eight.
 
honestly, i don't know a fair way to connect as far as city, server, state etc.
im just trying to say i could send the link to friends, family and neighbors. it will all be different. my question would be how to actually find out how fast. i know what comcast says, but don't understand why a neighbor would be so slow. yes i do pay for a bit faster. i think you know what im talking about though.

Did this test last month along with various other test around the world. The slowest speeds was to the "Lahore" server at 4038 down 673 up.

Level 3 Optical Carrier ftw? According to speedtest.net my speed is 99% faster than all global connections.

Indiana is a county and city in Pennsylvania... we have like 14,000 students... so it's not that small. It is a Div 2 school, and has no relation whatsoever to Indiana University nor the state.

You really don't notice much difference in games compared to like cable. The ping is low for both net speeds so in that department they're pretty equal. When it comes to downloading large files, though this network kicks ass.
