I envy most of you :P

I can't really take advantage of my speed because of the USELESS 60gb cap. Of course with 4 other people who use the internet it gets EATEN up lol. Darn bandwidth cap:mad:

Nope:P The Chicago server gives me the best results though. For some reason I get a much higher ping (around 90-100) when I test on the Toronto server.:confused:

And here's the best part: I have 2 DSL modems. One of them gives me lower ping times (like 10-15ms), but the other gives me better upload speeds (around 80 kb/s more).

It's all very confusing.:confused:

Just to show you: This is a test with my Speedstream 4200, whereas my previous post had the test that was done with the crappy 2wire Bell modem/router all in one.

I post this to show how good most you guys have it when it comes to internet. Chiang Mai internet sucks. At least I don't have a bandwidth cap.

YUP IT SUCKS to have a bandwidth cap. I'm always wondering if we've gone over. When you think about it, a 60gb cap is PATHETIC.

im paying £35 a month,which considering i paid £19 for 10mb isnt bad at all.

it should cost £45 month but because we have a a package deal with them and i was a so called BETA tester for their new 50mb service we get it cheaper.

as for the upload,im not too bothred about that,its fast enough.

Wow thats cheap. Yeah the upload is fine its just that since the download is so fast I would expect the upload speed to be proportionate like 50 down and maybe 5 or 10 up
