Hah. It'd be nice if the edgrouter offloaded LACP but no dice. I don't really have anything that can do that while doing NAT at line rate. Now you need a switch to provide more than 1Gbps. Since Comcast tends to overprovision by 20% or so, I wonder if you bonded 2 of the 4 NIC's on the modem (which my MB8600 supports), if you'd actually get closer to 1.2Gbps.
I'd be just fine with a multi rate ethernet port. Even 2.5Gbps would be awesome!Hah. It'd be nice if the edgrouter offloaded LACP but no dice. I don't really have anything that can do that while doing NAT at line rate.
Was hoping for some DOCSIS3.1 modems with a SFP+ cage but I guess it will be a while.
How do you exist with that?CenturyLink - included in my rent, still sucks like my apartment last year.
I'd fade out of existence ala Marty McFly at 10mbps.How do you exist with that?
Most included ISPs in rent are pretty garbage, do they share that with the rest of the unit or do you at least get your own line?
Have you met up with @Origin Saint ?
Nope but we're pretty good friends lolHave you met up with @Origin Saint ?
No link as i'm at uni but ive tested it: 200mbps down and 12mbps up get close enough but am at uni where i get 20 both down and up
Do you plan to? You live in the same area!!! How close do you live?Nope but we're pretty good friends lol
The question contradicts the statement behind it.You live in the same area!!! How close do you live?
How did you get such a fast upload speed especially? Proper FTTH ?Changed my ISP because I felt that the old one was mistreating me and the speeds are much much better.
Damn we somehow managed to post at the same time LOL. Jinxed itThe question contradicts the statement behind it.
We all just like to make fun of @Darren 's poor excuse for a WAN connection.
What's your definition of WAN? The Internet is a WAN.WAN? Um, pretty sure this is to do with fibre optic/coaxial cables with high speed internet..
I dunno when the last time I walked 782 miles was, but I can promise I can't in my current physical state...And um not really, idk how big the area is. I mean do you live within walking distance? Would be a pretty darn coincidence if you did
