Should i cool the back of the motherboard?

My old rig is toast so im puttin together a new one. while i have the case apart should i cut a hole in the back of the case where the cpu will be? I have never seen anyone do this and was wondering if it would be worth the little bit of effort.

i would mount a fan, say 80 mm or so

I've heard of some people doing it, but its not worth it. It'll mostly just cool the PCB down.

Far from it since the cpu is on top of the socket it is secured in. The cpu chip is that little tiny chip seen in the center if visible of the housing.
