Hey i have an Acer that i bought not too long ago and the top cover is silver...i stick it in my bookbag and take it to campus everyday...i notice it has some scratches on top...is that normal? or shud i spend 20 bucks and get a case?...

That is your own preference. Scratches on the case aren't going to affect anything, if you don't like them, then yes, get a case. Or buy the case that I am selling :D

Probably would be a good idea to get a case. I mean, my brother bought one for college and it had a visible scratch right out of the box.

I used to be so picky about my laptop, but I just don't care anymore :P I litterly threw it in my bookbag with my books one day(I don't suggest doing that!)

I do have a case I use when I'm transfering it and I need other things, but if I'm just going to use it for a single class or something, I just carry it without a case. That is while the battery still holds a good charge!

what made you think you have to get a new case? just the external scratches or the internal scratches that you brought about by the Miss right? ha...ha... if it is the latter, hurry up and get a more eye-catching case!

I think the biggest thing that you should worry about is the hard drive, with all the throwing around.

I have a real nice Targus case I bought for $7.00 from the suppliers. Do you think I ever use it? NOOOOO. The cats use it as a bed. I shit you not. My siamese was sleeping on it about 15 minutes ago.

yeah i do it gently...i think i like the carrying around idea better...i mite get a case later on ...but is there ne way to get the scratches off? like anything u can buy or spray it on or something....any wat'?
