Regarding AGP/PCI-E Motherboard

Hi I just happened to find http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813157081 on newegg. People say its not too good of an idea because they've heard many bad reports on the AGP slot where it will not function or can actually fry your video card. Is this true? I am buying this graphic card because I currently have an AGP card at the moment and I'm probably going to upgrade sooner or later so I decided to do get a AGP and a PCI-E motherboard. Any opinions?

I say sell the AGP card to someone who doesnt know anything about computers. Make them think they are getting a good deal. Then turn around and get yourself a new graphics card and mobo.

But to answer your question, I dont know, I would say buy at your own risk.:o

All I have heard is that not to many AGP card will work with those, like with ATI, I think just and not including the 9600 and back, but not burning any up, just wont work!
