Psu AND Xbox 360 Power Cable

SO! heres my question, this PSU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...ntec_520w_power_supply-_-17-371-030-_-Product) Work with a power cable from my xbox 360, not the entire assembly but the part that goes from the wall into the rectangular piece. im having trouble explaining it, hopefully you understand. anyway thanks for your time

If so, then no, that powersupply will have no cables that will fit the power brick of a 360.

He's wondering if that cable from the xbox can work on the power supply(Not the entire thing but from the cable from the outlet to the brick).

I don't know if that will work as i don't look at my xbox cables

Looking at my roommate's xbox, this is what his plug looks like:

And this is my computer's power supply cable.

As you can see, the xbox has two slots and the PC has three. So, no, but my roommate has a newer black xbox so it may be different if you have an older generation system and they have different cables.

bought it about 2 years ago... im remembering a 3 pin but cant decide and its driving me up a wall.. itd be nice if that psu just came with a power cord.

Most PSUs do come with a cord. I can't imagine they'd be more than $5 at an electronics store.

Depends on the Xbox power supply. Some of them are three pin, those will work just fine they're the exact same cable you use for a computer power supply. Some are two pin, won't work, and some have this odd little notch and I think those are two pin as well. Basically, most of them won't work but there are a few that will. But you should be able to get a replacement cable off of eBay for about $3 shipped.
