Problem need help dont know if its PSU issue

i plugged everything correctly into my motherboard, psu, everything, pressed the button to turn it on nothing happened..is this a common psu problem? thanks :-(

Are you 100% sure that you plugged in everything and checked it, did you plug in the Power button wire tha goes in the mobo?

Like filip said, make sure everything is securely in place. If you're 100% positive that the PSU has power (i.e. fuse not blown,etc) and that everything's connected, check the mobo to see if a green led goes on when you press the power button. If it does, it's not the psu. if it doesn't, it most likely is.

im pretty sure..iono wut i'm doing wrong does the psu wen turned on(not computer turned) do the fans turn on..without the comp turned on yet?..ahh this is so frustrating..i think its a psu problem..

yea..the green light does not come on..i think its the psu..it came with the case

yeah, the psu is probably a bad one. if you bought from Newegg, call up customer service and RMA it.

does it go on consecutively? or is it juss 1 flash?

it flashes only once..not multiple times im not sure how many times its suppose to flash

its might be because the 4 pin plug is not connected from the psu to the mb
