Opeth wallpaper I made on the left (22" ViewSonic VX2240W@1680x1050, 16:10) and on the right a picture of the Tarantula Nebula, which is the result of 15 different pictures taken by the Hubble space telescope (19" HP L1906@1280x1024, 5:4). I got the picture of the Tarantula Nebula from 'The European homepage for the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope' as a part of the 1.9Gb high quality 'Top 100' pack.
I like my desktop to be clean. The taskbar has toolbars for miscellaneous applications (browser, media software etc.) and games. I sometimes use RKLauncher (applications) and RocketDock (games).
