Pin question

I kno this is a big n00b question so dont hate but my mobo is a 24 pin for power... my psu is 20+4 pin, will this work together??

Both Intel and AMD use 20 and 24-Pins. The 20+/-4 Pin connector means it can be used in both types of motherboards.

omega's response works if you are talking about 20+4, but are you talking about the 12v connector? it is seperate.

I have to repost this because it's very important. If your 4pin has 2 yellow and 2 black wires don't use it to extend the 20pin to a 24 (it's keyed so I don't think it will fit but I have never tried).
 
That's fine, it's supposed to go there. I just wanted to make sure someone wouldn't try to turn their 20pin main power into a 24pin with it.
