PC Switch

I would like to have some sort of key switch on my pc. i have looked at http://www.maplin.co.uk/search.aspx?MenuNo=485&MenuName=Key+Switches&worldid=3&FromMenu=y&doy=27m3
and i dont know what type will work. does anybody know what im looking for?

you mean a key to open the side up?

it could work but you need one like on the ignition of your car. if you have one like that you just need to turn it to start and it will make contact for as log as you hold it there. but a lot of those switchers on the url you posted you will need to turn it on then off so the computer wont shut down (its almost like holding down the power button)

I agree.

You should use it for the keyboard lockout connector in stead of the power.
