Omg!!!! I Just Won The Lotery!!!!what Should I Buy????????

Ummm...slight problem THe RAM doesn't work with the motherboard. ;)

Why not? That board can OC to accomodate the 1000 Mhz ram, and I'm *all* but positive that that board can overvolt memory to 2.2-2.3V range necessary for that ram.

Please be more specific as to why it wouldn't work, then?

If moneys no problem you should definetly get a Mac Pro
Plus you should get a slow PC for some DOS games

Well if it was OCed, then yes it would. But not all people want to OC their computer like crazy.

But then again this is a totally theoretical computer, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Falcon!!! I haver herd a word of them in years!!! I herd there like, right up there with Alienware......

This is a really stupid article.

It will run at it's specified speed, but you will have to overclock the motherboard from 266mhz to 333mhz to reach DDR2 1000, since the board only supports DDR2 800 when it is at stock speeds.

You can customize an alienware (like someone else suggested) just get a lot of crap with it (projector, 4 32" monitors, digital camera, etc..) The total becomes $32,000+

first go here:
http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merc..._Code=M&Product_Code=80155&Category_Code=AMDC

tyan motherboard $1,810.65
(4) amd opteron 885 dual core 2.6 ghz 1mb per core $2,035. each = $8,140.
(4) thermaltake a1772 hsf cooler $49. each = $196.
(4) thermal grease apllications $14.99 each = $59.96
(8 sets) ddr 3200 reg ecc 4 gig (2 x 2 gig) $963.44 each = $7,707.52

then, from the same site (to save on shipping, lol) add:

pny quadro fx 4500 video card for $1,755.
creative x-fi elite pro sound card $359.99

that'll put you just over $20,000. for motherboard, cpu's, ram, video, and audio. that's a good start. maybe add some of those $1,000. 300 gig cheetahs.

lottery you say? get a ferarri enzo, gut it, and mod it into your computer case.
