Well, the way I see it is that a tough camera will be harder to break and won't mind being left out in the rain. aaaaaand.... a tough camera will be heavier, thus harder to steal! maybe. not. :p
 
Stick the photo in the envelope
Write the address on the front
Stick a stamp on it
Put it in the post box
