Hello Guys I have just loaded up my computer for the first time in a good while.

Now I am having a problem with connecting to the internet (so have to use laptop).

I am needing to get onto the internet today, would be best.

Right so my problem:

I have a wireless card and this is not being picked up by the computer, (I have not got any discs if you would want me uninstall and install).

Just to paint a picture of what it looks like on my screen:

Device manager:

- Network adapters:
- ! reaktek RTL8168/8111 Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)

- Other devices
- ! 802.11 n WLAN
- ! Multimedia controller
- ! RF receiver

I have tried to go to wireless connect on the bottom right and it does not show a wireless device or anything it can connect to.

Please can someone help me I am really wanting to get back onto here.

You have 3 drivers that need to be installed including the wireless adapter. Surely you have a driver disk for it? Is this a custom built pc or store bought?

Let me just say the only discs that I got with the computer is what I have in front of me and that is the MSI Drivers and Utilities and Medion Recovery disk

Please advise.

What is the make and model of the computer? Can't help you anymore unless we know that.

Okay:

Make: Medion

Modell: PC MT 7
Type: MED MT 513

If you need anymore information please let me know, I need to get this computer up and running online by tonight.

What's the MSN Number? The MSN number, sometimes labelled Art.-Nr or Article number, is an 8-digit number located on the identification plate on the back or bottom of your device.

Download them and run them and they'll install the drivers you need.

Because Medion is stupid, the extractor is in Dutch, but everything else is in English.
