New Fans

Hey everyone,

I bought the X2 4400 Toledo core with the A8N32 SLI DELUXE mobo and the temps are just about where I want them with the addition of my AS5.

Now right now I have a 92mm fan as the exhaust and the stock AMD fan on the heatsink. I was thinking of buying a good 120mm fan for the exhaust perhaps with LEDs to look cool but it's not 100% necessary. Also, I was wondering if I should replace the fan on the heatsink because it's thermally controlled and it might not be running its best all the time.

Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.

for the 120 mm fan....i would go with it, cooling off your PC will never hurt.

The fan is controlled by the motherboard(or basically all fans today are) so a new fan that pushes more air would probably actually run slower/less. I see no point in upgrading unless it's causing a problem, or you want to overclock... But my fan barely spins at all. But trust me, this thing can scream when it needs to(which I've yet to ever need it's full speed)

yea ok I've decided against the heatsink fan for now but I am picking up a 120mm Antec

Because the 92mm is at full bore and it is not pulling enough air that the case can potentially have and it will just make me feel better about it.
