NEVER go to MicroCenter for PC repairs!!

I HAD to take it to MicroCenter for new RAM and a Windows reinstall because when I got the system the ram was fried and the OS wouldn't even try to boot. I had no choice but to take it to a shop...

There are tons of tutorials and videos on how to change RAM (even though it's so goddamn easy), and we could walk you through the process if you needed it. If you can't do that I don't see why you're even asking questions here, just to Microcenter everytime you have the slightest problem...

My bad, I was thinking in terms of Intel with the push pin clips. I was curious how the OP's Cooler Master fastens or attaches?

This is a you tube tutorial video installation of a Cooler Master Hyper 212 for AMD FM2 socket. I see that the stock back plate and mounts need to be removed and replaced with the after market back plate provided by Cooler Master. This may not be the same model as the OP's but I get the idea now.
