Neo He 500 antec

anyone own Neo He 500 antec?
or any of these series?
i saw the reviews on neweggs, and its not very pleasent...
people saying that its the worst series of antec psu's...
which i have perchased for my computer

I've heard that they have some serious problems with some ASUS mobos, but I think they've fixed the problem in the newer models.

i don't know if neo he 500 is a newer models though
also,,,, do you know where i bought my psu from? ebay...
the guy said he is selling it because it wasn't strong enough for his computer
but i think he was lieing...
and i am using asus mobo...

Well Im using a Antec HE 500, and a Asus P5ND2 SLI deluxe. Ive had no problems at all, better than my previously PSU (Akasa PowerPlus 650w) IMHO

There was an issue with older Asus motherboards and early NeoHE PSUs, but it has been fixed. If your system boots up, you're not affected by this issue. A friend of mine has one, and is quite happy with it, but i've never used it myself. The average review on newegg is 4/5, and many of the negatives are referring to this compatibility issue which has now been corrected.

IMO, it's quite a nice unit, although a 120mm fan would have been nice.
