Mystery Cable?

Found this cable while going through computer parts in my parents basement and no clue what its for.

Any ideas? Its approx 2 feet long, skinny like spaghetti noodles, the FOXCONN tag on it gave me no results that made sense.

No, they are not used anymore. Used back in windows 95 and 98, some XP.

Older drives/computers didn't pass audio on the bus. If you wanted to listen to a audio CD you had to use this cable.
