Modding A Case

Hey,
I am currently building up a new computer (my first time), and I want to put a clear panel on the side of my case. How would I go about doing that? What should I use to cut the shape & would a thin peice of perspex be fine to screw over the shape? Will this affect the case in any negative ways?

Well to make things easier, if your building a new computer just buy a case with a window.

It would make it a lot easier, but 1) I already have the case that I want but it doesnt have a window (thus me asking how to make one), and 2) I want to try and make one so I can admire it a lot more. So please can you give me a few tips so I dont stuff the whole thing up?

Best advice I can give is:

Deide what exactly you want, waltz down to a glass shop and have theem do the cutting and fitting. It's still your design, you just go a little help,that all

glass on a computer sucks, lol, get acrylic
