Yo guys. The modders here (like Jan:D) have been a real insperation to me. This weekend my dad is finally gonna have a whole weekend with me and I am buying some more fans from the local computer store to mod some stuff on my case. First of all, I am going to put a fan on the front bezel so I can get some air running through the optical drive bays.

I wanted to know if you guys had some mod suggestions? I know there is already a thread on this but some of ya'lls ideas are too hard for a begginer like myself:P .

Also, anything that I should be aware of when mounting the fan on the front?

Make sure there aren't any/a lot of cables near the fan cause when air travels through your case and it hits objects when it's still traveling fast, like just after the fan, it's gonna cause a lot of noise.
 
Thanks dude, I'll keep that in mind :).

Any other ideas? It's thursday and the weekend is getting closer :D
 
Remove the bottom black part and replace it with an acryllic window, with a fan if you want.

EDIT: Also, screw the back panel Remove it and replace it with more acryllic, and have some blue LED's (or whatever matches your color scheme) around the edge.

And you can use sandpaper to make th surface rough in a pattern for example and the blue LEDs would then be stronger in the sanded area. Or so it seems as more light can "escape" than on a smooth surface.
 
if you are feeling adventurous how about a fan on the top of your case. you could cut a hole and whack your fan in there. a smaller fan. it could work well although have to be careful of the layout so that it is not interupting any of the components

I really like that idea. It would looks so cool not having the plastic (or w.e. the case is made of) there.
