Last time I'll ever be ordering from newegg or tiger direct

Newegg - They managed to double bill me which made my bank account overdraft a ton of charges (no I didnt hit enter twice or refresh) and I had to spend 3 hours at the bank getting everything fixed.

Tiger Direct - Ordered yesterday (Thursday), normal free shipping wasn't going to be here til the 16th so I payed the extra $48 to have it next day aired so it would be here today by 4:30 PM. They took so long to process the order that it's not going to be here til the 15th. Payed an extra 50 bucks to save myself a day. :|

bastards. if you take it high enough with tiger direct, you might be able to score some form of compensation out of it. just be sure to let them know how pissed you are

I agree,Not your fault it was their mistake!

So make them pay for it!!

newegg-strange occurrence, happens once in a blue moon with every company though.

tiger- well, this should teach you that paying for better shipping services is a waste of money.i always use ground or 3 day select for ups, whatever cheaper, usps I do priority mail and first class (parcel post is a complete joke), and fedex I just use standard ground.

Yeah TD use to be 1 state over from me so it took 24 hours to hit my house talk about wonderful 3 day shipping ^_^

how much money have you spent at newegg? if you spend enough, they will shit bricks over the possibility of losing you

Its great when calling newegg support here, cause ive spent a good amount over 10k last i spent the time to add everything up(little do they know most of that is rigs that ive built for other people, but hey, its on my account hehe...)

Newegg - This happened the last time I ordered from them which is why I haven't in so long. It happens enough that Wachovia has them blacklisted and sends you an email warning you not to purchase from them when you order something. I dunno what the hell is up with their shipping either. According to the tracker my package is sitting in Southern Maryland like 2-3 hours away yet is still not supposed to be here til the 16th.

Tiger - It's not UPS's fault, it's Tiger's for taking so damn long to get it to UPS. I normally wouldn't spring for the next day shipping, but I was saving $50 on the monitor I ordered from Newegg anyway and last time I ordered from Tiger it took like almost 10 days for my stuff to get to me.

1. Get a better job or find a better bank

2. Get a better job or be patient

Thanks for useless advice

What does my job have to do with anything? I know I'm not the only one on here who'd get screwed by an extra $300 charge on top of the $500 or so you're already spending hitting their account.

Also my bank had nothing to do with it and it was in no way their fault. Why would I switch banks when they bent over backwards to fix Newegg's screw up and waived all the over draft charges that weren't my fault?

I had newegg double bill me once...took 10 minutes on the phone to get my credit back.

Far as 1 day shipping it only works if you 1 rush process and 2. get the order before noon (I believe)Personally for what they charge for that I prefer to wait :P

Newegg has probably the best products and prices but they do screw up a lot of times with ordering, sending you an used item and a lot of other different things....probably everybody that i know that ordered from newegg had a problem with them once or twice... :(

It probably wouldn't have taken nearly as long if it hadn't taken out an additional $300 which caused a bunch of small purchases to overdraft as well.

I haven't yet, I guess I'm just lucky. All I know is that newegg has spectacular service if you ever need it.

Its a shame eBuyer are not in the USA to be honest. I was really quite upset that I could no longer order off Newegg when I moved. I gave eBuyer a try on a laptop hard drive, ordered at 10:55pm on next day delivery, was at my door at 7:15am and I am the other side of the country from the warehouse!!

I never had a problem with Newegg though, spent in excess of $10,000. Very rare error and you are entitled to compensation.

I don't feel like I'm entitled to anything, but what the hell, I'll hop on their live chat tomorrow and see if I can't get something out of it. :D

You should have told me that earlier, you have a very good bank then how much were the charges anyway?

Once again the internet fails us :( I think i need to do some more revision on how to be sarcastic on the internet.

a short video?

i will always prefer newegg over TD, most of the time the prices are better. as far as the double bill, ive had it happen once and its because the first time it told me it couldnt be processed so i went back and redid the checkout and it billed me for the first time as well. but a few short minutes with newegg and they fixed it all.
