Is the TV I've just purchased good?

Firstly, don't believe that the screen has a 600hz refresh rate - it's a con. I had a marketing guy once try to describe it as "10 panels on the screen that all refresh 60 times a second (hz) so it makes 600hz"

In any case, I can't find in the samsung website to look up the offical specs.

I dont really know much about tech terms when it comes to TVs, im upgrading from a 3 year old panasonic HD TV (VIERA TX-L37g10b), so hoping it will be really good in comparison. But i took a look at this in the shop and decided to order online. Just hope its awesome when playing games and for tv. The 3D was quite cool, first time i've ever tested 3D TV, I wouldnt say it was amazing though.. a nice novelty for sure.

Do you think upgrading from a VIERA TX-L37g10b to this one is a big improvement for gaming?

This is the page for offical specs (means nothing much to me) - http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE40F6670SBXXU I think the retailer i ordered from add their own mini code to the offical product code, that's probably why you wasn't able to find it. Currys are the only retailer that seem to sell it too.
