For some reason when i try to install certain programs/games i get a error message that says "The Installshield engine(ikernel.exe) could not be launched. The RPC server is unavailable." It doesn't happen on everything i try and install so i put up with it for a while, but its really becoming an annoyance. I'm running Xp sp2, not sure what other info you guys might need. I would rather not reformat if it isn't absolutely necessary. Thanks.
